Ket The Wild Spirit

The second story from Soma's Grimoire is about a fellow feline.

He was white as snow and had a birth defect: he was deaf. A male cat with a particular personality who had the misfortune to be born in the wrong place.... Or not really.

The first masters of the nameless albino cat were simple men, who didn't understand the concept regarding animals' personality. Due to the fact that he was deaf, he couldn't feed with other animals, so he needed special treatment. Because he was intelligent from the start, he realized what kind of life he wanted. A life next to human beings. Unfortunately, because he learned from humans how to eat from a plate, how to drink from a mug, how to eat different vegetables etc., he was sentenced to death. After he breached into the kitchen several times and feasted alone from the food, it was decided that because he was also deaf, he was a wasted resource. After he was caught and nearly hanged, he met his true partner. A child who was able to understand the need of a special treatment, with whom the cat became an unexpectedly fierce predator. Because of the harmful environment consisting of both humans and animals, the deaf cat evolved directly proportional with his master. His capacity to fight with bigger animals such as dogs, and with other dangerous small animals as ferrets, made him the equivalent of a guard dog. The fact that he dared to attack humans that threatened his family transformed him into a guard cat. His ending is uncertain, as he went missing during an unexpected winter. Because it's an area where humans hunt and kill animals just for fun,  the possibilities are diverse. The white cat received the name Ket and had a life similar to one of a human. He ate from a bowl, he drank water from a mug and slept in the bed, on the pillow. His Alpha presence had an influence on other male cats that were unrelated to him by blood.

Leonaș The Stray Beast

😺I will begin the grimoire with stories with the legend of a lonely dog, who was betrayed by humans. Leonaș was a hybrid, his mum was a German Shepherd, whereas his dad was a wolf. His mum was lost in the forest and when she returned, she gave birth to him. He was sold at a young age to a military base due of his size so he can detect landmines.

😿His testes' results showed a 45% match with a lone wolf. Because he had his own personality and he lacked the capability to detect landmines or he did not want to do this, and because he couldn't be tamed through violence, he was then sold to a simple man from the countryside. This specimen was an extremely intelligent predator, which knew only one side of humanity. Although very agressive and hard to handle at first, due to the dominant, but gentle side of his master, he managed to become a house dog. He was a dominant character and he didn't accepted animals that were lower on the food chain than him. He directly attacked a lamb or a calf of the family if he saw the opportunity to catch them out of the herd. As a personality, he had an antipathy against humans, but a strong sense of duty. He was very strong and had an intelligence that far succeeded the one of an ordinary German Shepherd.  Because he was a hybrid, he didn't had dysplasia. The wolfdog had the capability to feel humans' intentions. He didn't hesitate to strike down anybody that had bad intentions towards his master or family.

His story has a sad twist, when, because of certain circumstances, the master who showed him the good side of humanity decides to give him to a shepherd so the dog can protect his herd from wild boars and wolves. Feeling betrayed, sold and abandoned again, Leonaș killed seven lambs without eating them, and he laid them down one after another. He also killed two wild boars and a wolf that were on the herd's territory and arranged them next to the other animals. Because of this event and because he was a threat, the shepherd decided to hire two hunters to kill him. Leonaș went in the woods and he was taken down with the help of two hunters and five helpers. He caused significant damage to all these people, and his master never arrived on time to calm him down. This is the sad story of an exceptional dog that most of his life felt betrayed. Humans feared him because of his natural endowment and his incredible intelligence and this made him a target. Don't judge a book by it's cover.
